Acrylic Primer for Emulsion Paint / Plasterboard

Water-based acrylic primer for emulsion paints. It stabilises and strengthens the surface, reduces its absorbency and enhances the adhesion of the topcoat. Essential for recoating old distempers with emulsion paint, as well as for painting new surfaces. Also suitable for plasterboard.

Before use
It is applied on dry surfaces. The success of the application depends on the correct use of the material. Good, dry cleaning of the application surface is required.
After thinning with water, apply the product in one coat. Recoat in 3 hours. Full drying in 4 hours. Weather conditions may vary the drying time. Applied at temperatures from 10 – 35°C.
Stored at temperatures from 5 – 35°C. Practical tip: it is best to do the thinning in a separate container so that, if any primer is left over, it remains unthinned in the original bucket and lasts longer. The painting tools are washed with water immediately after use.
