700 Metal Primer

Fast-drying, anti-corrosive alkyd-based primer for metal surfaces. It offers strong adhesion and allows quick recoating. Thanks to its iron oxides and added organic modifiers, it provides excellent anti-rust protection. It forms a film with very good chemical and mechanical resistance.

Available in black, grey and terracotta, and in white by special order.

Before use
The success of the application depends on proper substrate preparation. Apply to dry, clean surfaces free of dust, and any flaking or loose particles.
After thinning with solvent, apply the Metal Primer in two coats. Final drying in 1 hour. Recoat after 6 hours. Weather conditions may affect the drying time. Apply at temperatures between 7–35°C.
Store at temperatures between 5–35°C. Practical tip: it is best to thin in a separate container so that any leftover primer stays unthinned in the original bucket and keeps for longer. Clean painting tools with solvent immediately after use.
