640 2K ACRYLIC PU

Two-component acrylic polyurethane paint for metal surfaces. It offers excellent gloss and maximum hardness. Ideal for surfaces exposed to solar radiation. It forms a film that provides high adhesion to the metal surface, very good chemical and mechanical resistance and excellent anti-corrosive protection.

Before use
The success of the application depends on the correct preparation of the substrate. It is applied on dry, clean surfaces free from dust, and loose or flaking particles. Ideally, before applying 630 2K PU, apply two coats of 660 EPOXY PRIMER 2K or 670 EPOXY Zn.
After thinning with thinner, apply two coats of 640 2K ACRYLIC PU. Mixing ratio 2(A) to 1(B) by weight. Once the two parts are mixed, the final product must be applied within two hours. The recoat time is 3 days. Full drying in 24 hours. Weather conditions may vary the drying time. Applied at temperatures from 7 – 35°C.
Stored at temperatures from 5 – 35°C. Practical tip: it is best to do the thinning in a separate container so that, if any paint is left over, it remains unthinned in the original bucket and lasts longer. The painting tools are washed with thinner immediately after use.
