Before use
The success of the application depends on the correct preparation of the substrate. It is applied on dry, clean surfaces free from dust, and loose or flaking particles. Ideally, before applying 650 EPOXY 2K, apply two coats of 660 EPOXY PRIMER 2K or 670 EPOXY Zn.
After thinning with thinner, apply two coats of 650 EPOXY 2K. Mixing ratio 3(A) to 1(B) by weight. Once the two parts are mixed, the final product must be applied within 50 minutes. Full curing: 8 days. Recoat time: 48 hours. Apply over the epoxy primer after 24 hours. Weather conditions may vary the drying time. Applied at temperatures from 7 – 35°C.
Stored at temperatures from 5 – 35°C. Practical tip: it is best to do the thinning in a separate container so that, if any paint is left over, it remains unthinned in the original bucket and lasts longer. The painting tools are washed with thinner immediately after use.
